Dr. James Nelson, Jr. has taught at Saint Augustine's College and North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. From 1990 - 1994, he served as Professor of Mathematics and Dean, School of Natural Sciences at Virginia State University, Petersburg, Virginia. Currently, Dr. Nelson is Professor of Mathematics and Chair, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore.
